Irrigation Department have Major Concern regarding the Operation, Maintenance, Development and Management of Irrigation Network which is most significant task for any Agriculture State, where majority of people are dependent on generation of quality cultivation and keep supply as per demands. Apart from Clean Water in River and its Distribution, Irrigation Department also has to work on Operation, Maintenance, Development and Management of Surface Drainage System with means of Mega Drains as well as installation of Tube Wells so that the ground water should remain below Root-Zone. At Time of Floods and Heavy Rains Flood Control along River Indus and Hill Torrents and Management of Flood Emergency is also an Vital Task in view of Global Climate Change
